After three very successful events (Seattle, San Francisco, Santa Cruz) in the US, Tad´s European book tour in October 2017 is shaping up quite nicely! Today, we would like to give you a preview of the German leg of this upcoming mega-tour, which will keep Tad busy for the whole month of October. Tad´s last big German tour was in 2011, when he toured for the final Shadowmarch volume, so anticipation for this tour is running high!
The Witchwood Crown, will be published in Germany in two parts in September and November, and The Heart of What Was Lost was published back in March, so German readers will be eager to get their books signed.
Part One is out now and can be purchased from your favorite local or online bookseller!
Tad will only have one appearance in Switzerland on this tour. He will be in Bern and start his European tour at a Orell Füssli Thalia bookstore.
Tad´s premier German event will be in Germany´s capital Berlin at the Festsaal Kreuzberg. Ticket pre-sales for this event have already started. This event is organized by Literatur live, Thalia (Germany´s premier bookstore chain), and radio eins Berlin.
Next up are stops in Munich (hosted by bookstore chain Hugendubel) and Kassel, which will be a very special event since this has been organized by a long-time reader and will see a gathering of message board members from all over Europe!
Tad will have several events in Frankfurt during the annual book fair, which is the biggest and most import book industry gathering of the year!
In Hannover, Tad will appear at the Literarischer Salon (i.e. literary salon), to be followed by an event in Heidelberg, one of Germany´s most beautiful cities.
In Stuttgart, Tad will again be a special guest at the Dragon Days festival, which awarded him the Schwäbischer Lindwurm award a couple of years ago for his OTHERLAND series. Again, there will be multiple events with Tad.
The final two events will be in Saarbrücken (at a cinema!) and in Lörrach!
